Selling my VW Polo 1.4 TDI as spares or repairs / donor car due to lack of time to fix.
Mileage: 156,240
MOT: Failed 4 March 2026 (see photos for details)
Logbook: Not present – receipt of sale will be provided, new owner will need to apply for V5.
Good Points:
Starts first time.
Strong battery and alternator.
Runs and drives.
Engine, gearbox, and brakes all good.
Bad Points:
ABS light on (likely sensor)
Engine management light on (does not affect performance, no limp mode)
Coolant temperature sensor needs replacing (no overheating or head gasket issues – driven 800 miles with no problems, heater works fine)
Rear passenger-side door deadlocked (does not open)
MOT failure due to sills – will need welding or attention.
Condition: Interior and exterior are rough as expected for age.
Ideal project for someone handy with repairs or perfect as a donor car for parts.
No silly offers or swaps – will be ignored.
