1998 Leyland DAF 45
Out of Plaiting end of February 2026
Runs well but needs some work to get it through its Plaiting. Our mechanic has had a look and these items will need to be fixed to get it through to include
Exhaust manifold needs patching
Front near and offside kingpins need replacing
Prop shaft centre bearing need replacing
Possible brake pads on both sides.
Very good lorry to have for parts or someone with more knowledge could certainly get it through its plaiting again but too much for us.
Recent new batteries, water pump and several other items. Horse floor area recently replaced and solid. Stalled for 3 ponies, sleeps 3/4, great storage/tack lockers/ loo. £1200 Scottish Borders
