Honda Deauville NT 700 registered 30/12/2009 in Excellent condition, in black and complete with extra large panniers, matching Honda top box and heated grips.

I purchased the bike in 2022 when it had 4 previous owners covering 11901 miles and it’s now showing 18710, currently sorned so it won’t increase.

I bought the bike with the long term view of keeping it as a retirement bike, so I gave it a full service, including valve clearances, air filter and new spark plugs. Since then it has had annual oil and filter change, and the headstock bearings done at 17500 miles (which seems typical, so buyers beware) I have just changed the oil and filter ready for the new owner.

It has plenty of life in the nearly new tyres and just been through the MOT with no advisories.

If you are looking for one of these, you will know it’s a shaft drive, and more than capable of touring 2 up with the piece of mind these bikes are ultra reliable and often clock over 100000 miles.

So why am I regretfully selling? I’m 6’2” and 69 with worsening arthritis in my hips, so I need to swap it for something that sits a bit higher. I still have another more upright bike which I find more comfortable but that will eventually get too heavy for me.

There is nothing else on the market that matches all the other attributes of an NT 700, shaft drive, good weather protection, simple to maintain (no fancy electrics), easy to clean, ultra reliable, and in black, a good looking bike.

Viewings welcome but no test rides without full payment in cash in my hand or transferred into my account. Don’t bother coming to kick the tyres and make me a stupid offer because I won’t take it.
