Have now just added MOT REFUSAL TEST CERTIFICATE DETAILS as requested by a prospective buyer just now along with more very recent photos taken showing my private plate which I was advised to cover but have very recently been informed that would make any potential buyer suspicious that it was a scam. I have the original plates for new owner to replace as the plates shown are now on my new car.

Despite having a lot of interest in my car really want it to be purchased by a person genuinely wishing to own it and spend the time getting it road worthy again.

The offers received so far are well below what this car is worth if fitted with new inner sills being the main cost involved so will consider realistic offers over £1,000 for a quick sale as now stored at a good friends car port.

Have received numerous enquiries and offers with two very interested in purchasing to restore this car that would be the ideal option as I have many fond memories from the day my wife and I purchased in August 2015 from Pentland Jaguar Edinburgh with only two previous owners. Up until then all services were carried out by Pentland Jaguar.

I have taken these details from the service portfolio which shows all additional services since
transferred to my ownership. REG WH05DAB original plate YL57 LHR.
Also shown is photo of the original Jaguar binder including all manuals etc.

Also just found a folder with all the original receipts for any services and work carried out at other times from date I purchased in 2015 when Pentland Jaguar carried out work before selling to me totalling £1,188

This will now allow a full picture of parts and other work carried out since I purchased
As the mileage when failing this years MOT on the 5th September 25 was 103,029 miles
and has a full tank of diesel as did not expect my car to fail allows new owner a bit time before having to top up.

This added information may encourage others to view and result in a positive prompt outcome. Meantime I have this car safely stored for any potential buyer to view.

Sadly age 79 I have now to part with my treasured Jaguar due to failing its MOT with costs to repair no longer justifiable for me.
I have had this car since purchased from Pentland Jaguar Edinburgh with two previous owners with full service history and is still in very good condition for its age as seen in photos.

Hopefully the eventual buyer will purchase to restore this car rather than use for spare parts. In the past 3 years I have spent over £4000 in replacing the necessary parts to keep it on the road including new clutch and flywheel. Have receipts for all parts purchased if required.

The car is in very smooth running condition with no engine issues, all the fail points on recent MOT are all due to corrosion to inner sills etc, plus a list of advisories.
