1969 Lotus Elan Plus 2 S Twin cam classic show race car Spyder chassis

A stunning 1969 Lotus Elan plus 2 S registered in my name with the benefit of the front seats recently retrimmed by Lotus trimmers in the original genuine Lotus material for a perfect match.
The car has a recent Spyder chassis original Lotus twin cam engine Webbers and Lotus gearbox all in its standard form.
As a 1969 model S it’s a great opportunity for eligibility to all classic race series including the popular Spa Swinging Sixties Silverstone Classic and Goodwood. I bought this for track days and Classic events but sadly other than the Lotus trimmed seats I haven’t touched it which offers someone a super opportunity to recommission a beautiful car. Selling as a non runner, It hasn’t been started for a couple of years or so but turns over fine and all compressions are the same at 170psi . The headlights don’t pop up and the brake and clutch cylinders, possibly pipe work need replacing bleeding and the reason I collected it on a trailer which you would need to do unless I have time to sort before collection.
Unfortunately I need to vacate my unit and it has to go. If I was going to keep it my plan was to change the oil and filter which I have ready, drain the fuel and replace with E5 and new filter. Replace/Bleed the brakes and clutch fit a new battery clean fuel system and start. If I get time I’ll do this but it’ll be advertised at a higher price as it’ll go off for mot (not needed but for peace of mind) and service etc so here is a great opportunity to get a very nice rare Elan S with sought after Spyder chassis and with it’s original features and the option to enter all classic events in the 60’s categories.
