Assalaamu Alaykum everyone!

My name is Amira and I am a native Arabic speaker. I teach Arabic, Qur'an (with Tajweed rules), Islamic Studies, Dua and Hadith. I have experience teaching in an Islamic school for more than 12 years, and I teach ages 4+, including adult women. I have been doing private tuition for 10 years, and online lessons for 7 years.

I live in Islington, London, and while I mainly work online, I am open to in person lessons around my local area. I do online lessons on Teams, FaceTime, WhatsApp video and Google meet, whichever you prefer.

Because of my experience working in a school teaching kids of all ages, I make sure to make my lessons engaging and fun, and cover a variety of areas to make the lessons interesting for my students. For younger students, I have games and toys to keep them engaged and my lessons usually include an Islamic studies story time at the end which is enjoyed by all ages.

My lessons are entirely tailored to the student, just let me know which subjects you would like to focus on and we can work at the student’s own pace. I always ensure that we go over weaker topics, prioritising learning, progress and the student’s comfort and confidence with everything they have learned.

My hourly rates are £20 for 1 to 1, and I have an offer for 2 hour lessons which makes it £35 instead of £40. I offer group lessons for £25/hr, and a 2 hour group lesson for £40 instead of £50.

Please note, the deals are only valid for 2 hour lessons, not 2 hours split across the week.
