VINTAGE DISCOVERY WORLD FEVA INTERACTIVE PLANETARIUM; TALKS & LIGHTS UP + ORIGINAL BOX
East Kilbride, Glasgow
£25
Description
Vintage DISCOVERY WORLD F.E.V.A interactive light up planetarium in original box with original internal plastic packaging
Learn about the planets with this informative, interactive model of the solar system with light up “Sun”.
The planets used to also rotate but the motor no longer works, however this is still a great item and may be fixable.
There is an interactive speech console to help you become an expert of on the planets. The console section features 10 buttons & fully slides into the base. It needs screwing into place to secure it (screw has been sellotaped to packaging as seen in photos).
The Sun (large red ball at the top) really lights up and is a lovely red colour.
In very good condition, although as previously mentioned the motor no longer works so it no longer rotates. However the speech console still works as does the light. A few of the stickers on the speech console are lifting up slightly at the corners. Also please note there is an error with the stickers - there are 2 x URANUS stickers on the buttons, however the one in-between Mars & Saturn is actually the Jupiter button.
The original solar system guidebook which came with the planetarium (as mentioned on the box) is missing.
Item requires 4 x AA batteries (included). Please note one battery spring has slightly rusted in the past but still works - it has been packed with foil to give a better battery connection -see photos.
This is a vintage item - box is a bit scuffed, creased & dented as shown and has had sellotape stuck on to it.
Not suitable for under 3’s
