GIK Acoustics Bass Traps - Soffit
Cameron Toll, Edinburgh
£400
Description
Selling 3x GIK Acoustics Soffit bass traps.
Happy to sell all together for £400 or separately, by offer. Collection or may consider delivery depending on where you are. I’m also selling 2x Monster bass trap panels (120x60x17cm) in a separate ad, check that out if interested.
New from GIK, these would cost £220-300 each.
See photos for sizes. Mostly good condition. The blue one has been scratched by cat a little, but only on one corner which could be placed facing the wall. The grey one has a GIK logo on it, the others this has come off.
From GIK Acoustics website:
The Soffit Bass Traps are our most substantial and best-performing bass traps, designed to deliver professional-grade control of low frequencies, room modes, and decay times in critical listening spaces. Whether you’re building a recording studio, home theater, or audiophile listening room, the Soffit is your ultimate solution for deep, broadband low-end absorption.
✓ Freestanding & stackable, or mountable
✓ Quality hand-made construction and craftsmanship
Overview
The GIK Acoustics Soffit Bass Trap is a full 41cm deep and features our patented FlexRange Technology for unmatched performance across the frequency spectrum. It has been extensively tested in both laboratory and real-world rooms and has proven to be far more effective in the 40Hz to 100Hz range than our popular TriTrap Corner Bass Trap, due to its larger size. It also handles high frequencies smoothly, offering actual broadband performance from 40Hz to 5 kHz.
Its unique square shape and large surface area make it ideal for corner bass trap installations or anywhere in the room where space allows. The more Soffits you place in your space, the better your low-end performance and frequency response will be, both audibly and as measured and shown in graphs.
