A classic hand-held condenser microphone which is suitable for both
stage and recording duties.
The AKG C535 EB microphone has been notably used by the following singers:
Frank Sinatra.
Whitney Houston.
Sting (see him using this model in the last two photos).
Barry Gibb (of the Bee Gees).
James Taylor.
K.D. Lang.
Bruno Mars.
It is also an excellent acoustic guitar recording and live performance
microphone. Many great flamenco guitarists have used and continue to
use them. Note that flamenco guitarists are known to be highly meticulous
in their commitment to seeking a warm, natural tone.
It is in proper working condition. The original internal grill foam pad
was replaced a few months ago (bits of foam had been crumbling off
due to age). It's smaller than the original size foam pad (you can see
the outline in one of the photos). It's a snug fit around the microphone
capsule, which gives the added benefit of reducing plosives. The foam
is also hypoallergenic.
It does not come with a case.
