Sony STR-DN1080 7.2 AV Receiver – Working, but speaker terminals need attention

Description

- Powers on; HDMI / Atmos / streaming everything works
- Low buzz caused by corroded aluminium negative speaker posts (known issue)
- Repairable (clean / replace binding posts)
- Remote included


The receiver works perfectly; however, a low buzz occurred after a number of years.
This low buzz isn't very loud and can be fixed by someone who knows how to replace the negative speaker terminals.

If you don't want to get it repaired, there is a workaround. 
You can attach the negative (black) wires from the speakers to the chassis with the copper screws shown in blue circles (hence the removal of the paint around them).
This works, as I used it like this for a while; in fact, it sounded better after doing this to me.
