Description
For sale a retro radio cassette player.
It dates from the late 1980’s or early 90’s.
It has been well used in the first part of its life but spent the majority of the last couple of decades in a cupboard.
It is far from perfect, the plastic is faded in places, some of the labels have worn off, the carry handle and cassette door have broken and been glued back together, the aerial mounting is broken and so it flops around and doesn’t make contact with the circuit board inside. The radio works (will work better is aerial is fixed) but the cassette player needs attention, it will play a tape but sounds poor and the FF and RW functions are slow and jerky, it almost certainly needs new drive belts. It can be run from batteries or mains (cable included) but I have not tested to see if if function properly with batteries.
Could be repaired by someone who likes tinkering or used as a retro nostalgia ornament.
