Unlike standard flatbeds, this model features a specially designed 6mm book-edge border. This allows you to place bound books flat against the glass, scanning right up to the spine without casting dark shadows, distorting text, or damaging the binding. Ideal for students, researchers, archivists, or anyone digitising books and documents.
