Description
This bird box with wifi camera is used but in perfect working order. The redwood has silvered nicely. The pictures shown are actual snaps from this box.
The camera is already attached to the box. It comes with a 10 metre power cable.
For the wifi signal to connect. The box needs to be within 15 to 20 metres of your wifi router, ideally unobstructed. If your smartphone/tablet has at least two bars of WiFi signal where your place your WiFi Bird Box Camera, this should be sufficient.
It is recommended that the Bird Box faces between North and East to avoid direct sunlight and strong winds. If possible, tilt the Bird Box slightly forward to protect the entrance hole from driving rain. Make sure enough natural light is allowed through to the translucent window panels so you capture colour images.
I’ve cleaned the box using boiling water.
The Nestera app allows you to view the camera on a smartphone or tablet and provides video and audio. The camera provided high quality HD video when it has sufficient light and night vision infrared produces black and white footage in darkness.
Costs £180 when new.
