A DELIGHTFUL PRINT BY CHARLES BURTON BARBER 52cm x 42cm PRESENTED IN A GLAZED WOODEN FRAME. READY TO HANG. CHARLES BURTON BARBER 1845–1894. HE WAS AN ENGLISH PAINTER KNOWN FOR HIS PAINTINGS OF ANIMALS, CHILDREN WITH THEIR PETS AND GENRE SCENS, BARBER WAS BORN IN GREAT YARMOUTH IN NORFOLK, AND STUDIED FROM THE AGE OF 18 AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY, LONDON. A RETIRING CHARACTER, HE DIED AT THE AGE OF FORT-NINE. THIS PRINT HAS BEEN PRE-OWNED & HAS BEEN HANGING IN A SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT. GOOD CONDITION. COLLECTION PREFERRED.
