1960 Excelsior Consort – Older Restoration – lightweight classic
For sale is a 1960 Excelsior Consort, an older restoration for a private collection. The bike starts and runs well and is fitted with its correct Villiers two-stroke engine. Receipts are available for a full engine rebuild carried out by Villiers Services, costing over £1,000, confirming the engine’s strong mechanical condition. comes also with current V5c
While a lot of money was spent on the restoration some years ago, the paint on the petrol tank has started to flake, though the rest of the bike remains in a tidy presentable condition.
