When I met Adam I was in a very confusing time in my life and at school, didn’t know what to do with my future, didn’t know what to do with myself. And over the span of 7-8 sessions with Adam he has soothed all of my nerves and thoughts i’ve ever had regarding my future. I really recommend Adam to anyone that has problems and if you need to talk to someone face to face, he’s your man.

My 14 yr old son has worked with Adam at ‘Join the dots’ for the last 4-5 months Adam is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The work he has done with my son (who has ADHD) has proved really valuable and helpful allowing him to focus and stay on track at school Adam has showed him how to cope with certain situations that may arise, aswell as helping to encourage the school SEN team to be more proactive with Zach’s educational challenges. I approached Adam A few months ago as I became really concerned on how my son Jack was behaving and his negative view on certain things. I was put at ease from the first phone call I had with him. He assured me that Jacks behaviour at 14 is sadly common with the modern world we live in. After Adam explaining to me how he could help Jack, I immediately appointed him as his life coach. Initially Jack was upset at the fact he thought we had instructed Adam because there was “some thing wrong with him” but quickly warmed to him and understood what Adam was explaining to him was correct, things such as. Not having perfect hair on a morning is normal. Not to have a load of friends is normal. Things you see in social media each day isn’t the real world and how people live. That Jack was a good person. Jack luckily didn’t need many sessions with Adam, I think this was due to the fact Adam is so good with what he does. I would recommend him and would approach him for help again if needed. It was both stimulating and comforting working with Adam. Within 20mins of our first session, Adam had revealed to me a professional blindspot and helped me recognise the hold it had over me in my efforts to pivot career. Beginning with a diagnostic tool to identify my values, together we identified an achievable approach to job searching that challenged my perceptions and felt slightly uncomfortable! The post-session summary notes Adam sent were useful to dip into between meetings to remain on track and keep me feeling supported and inspired. Over the 6 months we worked together, and through a combination of mentoring and coaching I gained clarity, purpose and most importantly motivation to keep going even when set-backs felt dominant. Working with Adam was an incredibly positive experience.
