Description
Wind-the-handle apple scratter to chop your apples up before pressing them (see my other ad!). It's free-standing on legs, you press down on the wooden bar across the hopper as you wind the handle.
The scratter takes a couple of kilos of apples at a time - chop them in half first. I've only used it for a couple of years for the apples I grew on my allotment. I had to give that up so I'm reluctantly parting with it. It's still shiny and clean.
After each use I cleaned it with water and fairy liquid. It's been stored indoors.
These sell new for £150 or more. Collection from Southampton a few minutes from J5 of the M27
