At HB Tutoring we pride ourselves with our thorough approach to learning and increasing your child’s confidence within their subject area.
The tuition package which we offer ensures student's progress with an in-depth knowledge of their subject area and are able to help students to meet their full potential. This is achieved by working closely with parents, schools and examiners.
We have a number of examiners who are part of our team. They are able to assess students ability and are very experienced at identifying areas which are needed to be focused upon in order to achieve their desired grades. The examiners will liaise with parents to discuss the best way forward, hours required etc . Examiners and tutors then liaise and take the student forwards. At any point we are able to send work to the examiners for a progress report.
Our packages include:

Transition between year groups, getting students prepared for their next academic year group.

1-1 tutor, Online tuition is a fantastic way for students to learn and to record their lessons as they are being delivered. This allows students to have a bespoke revision refrence to help with their studies as well as preperation for examinations and tests.
GCSE tuition will also include exam teachnique as well as the curriculum content, ensuring students are fully prepared for their exams

* Access to our online learning platform, all students are given a unique access code allowing them 24/7 access to additional maths and English resources.

* We liaise with schools should parents wish us to do so - all parents are copied into all correspondence with the school. We will ask for a copy of the schools half termly plan and ensure tutors follow the plan which students are learning at school. We contact the school half termly, however schools can contact us as frequently as they wish.

* Half termly reports are sent out to parents highlighting the plan followed and where students have excelled and understood certain topic areas, also we will identify what we will cover over the next half term, should some topic areas have been tricky for the students we will carry these over to the next half term.
