The light sand for drying flowers puts less pressure on fresh flowers, beads absorb moisture without damaging the flowers, changing colours or changing their shape. We recommend wearing a mask and gloves when handling the product.

The silica gel crystals are Cocl2 free, non-toxic and odourless. Our silica flowers drying beads are treated with dust-proof technology. They absorb moisture without the use of chemical reactions.

10% of the sand for drying flowers are orange, moisture indicating silica crystals, and 90% are clear silica beads; The orange crystals change colour to black green when saturated with moisture. So you can easily identify when your desiccant needs to be charged or replaced.

This silica gel can be reactivated by spreading the silica gels on a flat metal sheet and placing them in a 120°C oven for 30-60 minutes or until all green crystals turn orange again. The charging process may take shorter or longer depending on the amount of silica gels.
