Description
Striking large vintage multi-coloured hand-blown art-glass cockerel or rooster, believed to date from the 1970s.
It features a rich red and amber body, sweeping blue glass tail, clear textured wings and amber-coloured feet.
A very close matching example is described online as vintage Murano Sommerso glass. This example has no surviving label or visible signature, so it is being sold as Murano Sommerso-style or attributed Murano rather than with a guaranteed factory attribution.
A substantial decorative piece measuring approximately:
