Still boxed with protective film on screen of base unit, doesn't look to have been used much if at all. The components were working when tested. The surface coating of the red button is flaking a bit from age but looks OK underneath - the lettering is below this top layer.

Wireless appliance controller - made in China.

This has three plugs and one base unit with a mains power supply which connects via a jack plug. It is for UK mains type plugs and sockets. The base unit can connect to the plugs individually, see what power is being used and turn them on and off remotely by pressing buttons on the base unit. Regardless of whether they are on or off, if a power cut occurs they will switch to off and stay there. The plugs can also be toggled on and off locally by pressing a button on the plug itself, and they have an indicator to show the state. Each plug is rated at 13A. The base unit has a settable clock and more plugs than this can be added, but there does not seem to be any timer function in the base unit to power the plugs on and off. It can also connect to a PC via ethernet for power usage logging. It dates from the late 00's it seems though, so is probably a bit limited compared to new smart plugs. More details might be found online, although the web address EDF provides for the full user guide is no longer active.
