Description
Collectable vintage Moore & Wright No 2961 micrometer in origin brown metal case and complete with adjustment/error correction spanner.
This micrometer which probably dates back to the 1960's is in good working order although it has not been checked recently for accuracy.
The knurled thimble has a small amount of engineering 'debris' attached (photograph 3) which I assume could be cleaned off or ignored and there is a name engraved into the U-frame (photograph 4).
For a used engineering tool of probably 60 years old I would consider it to be in good condition.
It is important to look at the photographs for any wear incurred by the micrometer which should be considered as part of its description.
