Description
These came off my 1939 restoration project Cromwell Gibson made guitar in the Kalamazoo factory outside Chicago from 1936 to 1939
The Cromwell was made with the idea of reducing the quality to a marketable guitar during the depression and so Gibson manufactured a steam pressed guitar for 4 years only with a reduced selling price
They have no name but they are similar to the machine head buttons on my 74 Gibson Blue ridge 12 string
They have yellowed with age I’m sure they must be bone . On inspection there is no join as you get with manmade materials
These are the unlabelled machine heads that came off and i swapped over for modem equivalents
These are perfect for a restoration
They will be sent in a Kluson box within a box
