Fender Performer 1000 1 x 12 guitar combo 100W Made in USA in 1993
The Fender Performer 1000 is a powerful Fender “hybrid” with a solid-state power amp and a 12AX7 vacuum tube in the preamp section. The result is an amp that has a very clean Clean channel and a nice warm Drive channel at a respectable 100 watt output. It features a proper spring reverb.
It comes with the original footswitch which controls channel, boost and reverb.
Comes with the rare original user manual, electronics schematic and Fender Technical Service book.
This fantastic combo has been fully serviced along with the recommended Fender modifications.

New parts and Service mods.
1 x As per Fender Tech Note# TN94-3 a new genuine Fender Volume Control, 50K 15A Taper, Snap In was installed to make the volume more linear i.e. easier to control smoothly.
2 x Electrolytic Capacitor 4700UF 63V 105 Low Impedance.
2 x TIP142 (NPN) and 2 x TIP147 (PNP) Darlington power transistors mounted on new silicone thermal pads.
2 x Upgraded R172 and R173 with 10W 5% Tolerance 220 ohm Ceramic Cement Resistors which make the 1N5353B Zener diodes run cooler.
2 x New Zener diodes CR56 and CR57 - 1N5353B Zener Diode 5 Watt 16 Volts 5W 5 % Axial 150 °C installed and raised above the circuit board to prevent burning.
All potentiometers cleaned with Servisol 10 which also contains a lubricant designed for pots.
All jack sockets, switches and Reverb plugs cleaned with Servisol 10.
The Fender recommended modification of the extension speaker jack done.
Fender Tech Note# TN94-2 Ground Trace Modification done.
