DonJoy Hinged Knee Brace – Open Patella, Polycentric Side Hinges
Moortown, West Yorkshire
1 / 2
Description
DonJoy hinged knee brace, a proper step up from a basic neoprene sleeve. This one has real structural support built in rather than just compression, so it's suited to anyone needing extra stability during sport, recovery, or everyday activity on a dodgy knee.
Features:
Bilateral polycentric aluminium hinges on both sides of the knee, which flex naturally with the joint while reinforcing it against side-to-side movement
Open patella design with a padded donut-style ring around the kneecap for stability without added pressure
Breathable spacer-mesh and neoprene panelling, more comfortable for longer wear than solid neoprene
Multiple adjustable Velcro straps (cross straps above and below the knee, plus the main wraparound closure) so you can dial in compression and fit
Finger-pull loops on the straps for easy application
Good for:
Mild-to-moderate ligament instability (MCL/LCL), meniscus issues, general knee weakness, or returning to sport/activity after a knock or minor injury. Not designed to fully immobilise the knee — it supports movement rather than locking it out.
Condition: Used but in good shape, hinges and straps all working as they should, no rips or damaged Velcro.
