Description
Please note that this item is ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE so the listing may be ended at any time.
A striking Victorian mahogany veneer Scottish large set of drawers with sleigh style top drawer and carved plinths either side. The chest seems to be predominantly made of pine, some of which is stained and other parts have a mahogany veneer. I think that the handles may have been replaced at some point with the attractive golden/peach coloured glass set shown. The drawers are particularly deep giving you lots of storage.
In good condition for their age with general scuffs and signs of use commensurate with age. There's a couple of little chips to the veneer on the top around the edges. There's a small sliver of wood trim missing on the left hand plinth but it's not particularly noticeable. All drawer bases are good. The key is missing, but all drawers are unlocked.
Dimensions: H 114 x W 106 x D 49.5 cm.
Internal height top drawer: 14 cm,
Internal height 2nd drawer: 20 cm,
Internal height 3rd Drawer: 23cm,
Internal height of bottom drawer: 31 cm.
