Description
Measures W90.5cm, H75cm, L121.5cm unextended, L152cm one leaf extended, 182cm both leaves extended.
A sturdy wooden table almost certainly oak - maybe beech or elm if they used them in the 1930s. Inherited from elderly relative who set up home in the 1930s/40s so table and chairs dates from that time and I'm assuming is British made. The wood is lightly laquered to give a warm brown colour. The extending mechanism works very smoothly. Photos show in extended position.
Chairs with pale brown velvet seats - good quality - and lovely carved flower motif on backs. Chairs are same warm brown and feel like oak too.
Priced for quick sale.
Table has some signs of wear as has been used but nothing major just small scratches and stains, - see photos of examples.
Buyer collects from Histon near Cambridge.
