Mid Century Ercol Day Bed / Dining Bench

Description

Beautiful vintage mid-century Ercol day bed, thoughtfully adapted for use as a stylish and comfortable dining bench. Featuring Ercol's iconic solid elm backrest and a black-painted beech frame, this is a timeless piece that works equally well in a dining room, hallway, garden room or as occasional seating.

This piece has been carefully restored and upgraded for modern use. The original webbing has been replaced to provide improved support and longevity, while the seat base has been professionally altered to make it more comfortable and practical for use at a dining table without compromising its classic Ercol character.

The deep cushion has been professionally recovered in a striking blue tropical leaf fabric, giving the piece a fresh, contemporary feel while complementing the warmth of the solid elm backrest.

The frame is solid and sturdy, with light signs of age consistent with a well-cared-for vintage piece. Overall, it presents beautifully and is ready to enjoy.
