Description
This very old Georgian, mahogany bookcase / set of glazed shelves (great for apothecary purposes or bathroom lotions and potions) originally sat atop a fantastically practical and beautiful, but very heavy, Georgian secretaire, parted with before a recent move.
Space requires now also bidding adieu to this aged but intricately made piece.
The original condition is borne out by the attractively ancient but faded fabric lining on the inside, the various missing bits, one cracked pane of glass on right door, and the antique label on the back.
I'm sure someone will have the necessary skills to be able to repair this to its full glory, or will love it with and perhaps precisely for all its many imperfections!
