Description
This is the much sought-after sideboard manufactured by McIntosh of Kirkcaldy known as the 'Dunbar'. Designed by Tom Robertson in 1965, this is a fine example of mid-century modern British craftsmanship.
This fabulous long mid century sideboard is in impeccable condition for its age, it is fully functional and constructed from teak. With a symmetrically pleasing design with two doors to each side and four drawers to the center, the top drawer having separators lined with black felt. Its drawers and cupboards offer a good amount of storage space and are all fitted with lovely curved wood handles. One of the cupboards is intended as a drinks cabinet complete with a useful pull-out cocktail mixing shelf.
