Ercol Oak Glazed Cabinet Vintage 1940s Dresser Display Unit Design 1058
This is a lovely vintage Ercol oak glazed cabinet, design no. 1058, dating to around the 1940s. It is a well made and practical piece with the original Ercol “Reliability” label still present on the back. The upper section has twin glazed doors with internal shelving, ideal for books, glassware or display. Below this is a row of two drawers with carved fronts, adding decorative detail. The lower section has a pair of curved, panelled cupboard doors which open to further useful storage. The cabinet stands on turned feet with a stretcher base and is completed by attractive brass drop handles throughout. The oak has developed a rich, warm tone with attractive grain across the doors and panels. It presents well overall and is ready for use in a dining room, living room or kitchen.
There are signs of age and use as you would expect, including light surface marks, small knocks and general wear to the finish in places. Please refer to the photographs for full details of condition, as they form part of the description.
