Description
A Handmade card table made of Mahogany.
The top is book matched Brazilian mahogany flame curl veneer with satinwood cross banding inlay.
The serpentine shaped top is very unique, being shaped all around making for a very special hinged back edge.
The cabriole legs each have a hand carved shell detail tapering down to a fine bottom foot.
The table rails are double serpentine shape, veneered and have a bead detail.
Turn the top through 90° to find a shallow storage area under the top.
On opening the top the massive green baize card playing top surrounded with more satinwood cross banding is discovered.

35" x 22" x 29½" tall as side table
42" x 35" when open
In good very condition, a couple of very small areas (about ½") of satinwood cross banding have raised.
