Description

Mid century Danish PS modular wall system, designed by Preben Sørensen in the early 1950s and manufactured in Denmark by Randers Møbelfabrik.

This amazingly versatile system can be configured in endless combinations with each of the shelves and cabinets independently hung on metal pins inserted into holes along the vertical rails.

Good vintage condition; the units have been cleaned, some have been refinished. Some very light marks and wear consistent with age. On the large sliding door unit there is a small scratch. At the left hand side of the small sliding door cabinet with wooden door unit there are two small holes. Inside of the bureau / drinks cabinet has some stains from previous use.

All the sliding doors can be easily removed, making the units open shelving if desired. The large sliding door unit has a removable shelf, as does the small glass door unit and the bureau. In the small wooden door unit the shelf has been made permanent, but could be removed if desired.

Another set of PS units are also available, as well as the premium quality Royal wall systems.
