Description
For sale is a rare vintage Chinese semi precious stone ‘Bonsai’ tree ornament
Leaves/petals are made from shards of semi precious stones
The flowers are made on bendable wrapped wires and attached to a wooden bonsai branch.
Green stone base ‘vase’ (possibly Jade but can’t say for sure)
Approx 20cm high, 15cm wide
Due to its age and fragile construction, there are some missing leaves/petals.
This was my grandparents who lived in Singapore, so dates it around the 1930’s.
