Description
C.1955, U.S.S.R., Majak Crystal Clock on a Black base. This looks like the best the Russians had to offer for a trendy desk clock. The case is cut and polished crystal, supported by two curved steel corbels in deco-style mounts. The very base is like black bakelite, with two little chips along the perimeter. The substantial movement has an 11-j lever escapement and is running fine.
