The Hornet was introduced as Wolseley's more luxurious interpretation of the Mini platform, combining compact dimensions with traditional British styling cues and a more refined interior. Today, surviving examples are increasingly sought after, particularly cars with genuine provenance, originality and a story to tell. This example has all three.

History & Ownership

This Hornet's history is exceptionally well documented, beginning with its first registration in Jersey in May 1966, where it was supplied new by BMC main dealer J.E. Colback & Sons of St Helier.
