Extremely rare kit car from GKD Sports cars, this being the GKD Evolution Series 1 with a 2.0 Blacktop Zetec engine taken from a late 90s Ford Mondeo. ONLY 200 MILES. Fully road legal with a February 2026 MOT. Huge history file showing pretty much the full build to completion, records show the build started in 2008 and was completed in 2019. Logbook, GKD certification with serial number, Ford approval to use this engine with engine number and all official documentation is all at hand. According to cars of the world EU, this won kit car of the year in 2006. Made from fibreglass the official recorded curb weight is 950kg however it is most likely much less. Couple this to a modified 2.0 Blacktop Zetec which produces 138bhp out the factory, the power to weight this car is capable of is immense. It has the full wet weather gear as GKD call it with the removable soft top which simply buttons on and off. The Evolution is also on adjustable coil over dampers and double wishbone suspension made specifically for this car to enhance driving experience. A perfect track toy or something to have some fun in, certainly not the easiest or most graceful thing to get in or out as you drive it in a formula 1 styled driving position but it is sure to put a smile on anyones face who interacts with it and the best part being that no one has a clue what it is. On a J registration but you could put any reg up to 2020 on it as it was registered 01/07/2020. An extremely rare thing to behold, certainly not another one for sale or another one coming on sale in the near future, you can purchase a complete evolution newly built for 27,000 euros, however you will have to get it through the dreaded IVA test due to its age as well as the other requirements, this is a complete car, physically on site.
