1957 TRIUMPH TR3. ORIGINAL UK CAR. Finished in Pearl White with Black interior. Sold by ourselves to an enthusiast around 4 years ago
Formerly the property of Sir John Robson Rogers, Executive Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club Motor sports association from 1989-1998 the car is supplied with its British Heritage certificate showing it to be first registered in July 1957 in Warwickshire.
The last owner who lived in the Isle of Man decided to take the TR to the next level as he wanted to do some European touring as well as things like the Scottish Malts. To achieve this to say he spent a small fortune is an understatement. In the last 4 years here is a sample of the modifications and improvements he has made to the car to the tune of well over £15,000
Racetorations all synchro competition type 4 speed gearbox and overdrive
Racetorations hydraulic clutch centre bearing and competition clutch
Lightened flywheel
High torque starter motor
Rack and pinion steering conversion with collapsable column
New carburettors with 4 branch manifold and stainless exhaust

Plus there are receipts for much more included in the comprehensive history file as well as an original Triumph TR3 sales brochure, instruction book and MoT certificates dating back to the 80s
Original parts such as the seats and steering wheel have been retained and are included in the sale of the car.
