This is a vintage hand-knotted Chinese wool rug, dating from the 1970s (purchased originally in Hong Kong).

• Design: Traditional Peking style with central medallion, floral motifs, and auspicious symbols (寿 “Shou” character for longevity).
• Colors: Blue and ivory tones
• Material: 100% wool, thick pile, hand-knotted (see back for details)
• Condition: Vintage condition – shows some age-related wear and minor staining, with fringing worn in places. No damage, still very solid and heavy. A professional clean would refresh it beautifully.
