Rolling staircase, scaffold style for mezzanine floor or racking
Glasgow City Centre, Glasgow

Description
On offer here is a rolling set of stairs. (One of two, see below)
They were built for a project that ended up not happening. and have been in storage ever since.
You can hopefully see from the photos how they have been fabricated. The stairs themselves are the same style used on heavy duty scaffolding towers, and there’s a landing area on top. The framework is all aluminium and the treads and platform are made from Buffalo Board phenolic plywood. The castors are very heavy duty and easily lockable. The whole thing has been built and certified by Planet Platforms rather than knocked up in someone's shed.
It would be ideal for access up onto a mezzanine floor, or a very solid solution for picking goods from racking.
Measurements:
The whole unit is 1m wide. Steps are 90cm wide. There are nine steps in total.
The top platform measures 1m x 90cm
The platform height is 2.1m from the ground (including the castors). The handrails around the top add an extra 1.08m
The exit from the platform is to the left hand side. I do have a matching, mirrored, set that opens off to the right hand side. It's had to be stored outdoors (under cover) so is a bit tattier, we would let that go for less, especially if you want the pair.
Obviously, given the size you'll need a fairly big vehicle to collect. It's not going to fit in an estate car or most vans. Everything is welded together so it won't dismantle. I'd imagine you'll need a large Luton van or a truck. Alternatively it would probably strap down safely on a flatbed trailer. Unfortunately we've got nothing big enough to move it ourselves so can't offer any kind of delivery.
We are based in Port Dundas, just off the M8 to the north of Glasgow City Centre. We're outwith the LEZ and you can get to and from the motorway without touching the zone.
