Selling my Planet X road bike, size 60–62cm – ideal for taller riders.
It’s been in storage for about 5 years (post wife & baby!) so it will need a full service before riding, but it’s a solid, good-quality bike with some useful extras.
Bike Specs
* Frame & fork: Carbon fibre
* Groupset: Shimano Tiagra 2x10 speed
* Shifters: Shimano
* Brakes: Shimano
* Tyres: 23mm Continental Gatorskins
Seatpost: Extra-tall seat post
* Pedals: Shimano flip flops. One side clip in, other side flat to ride without cleats.
Included Extras
* Zinn’s Road Bike Maintenance book
* General XTools toolkit (usually ~£50)
* Portable pump
* Multi/hex tool with chain tool
Condition
Has been in storage for ~5 years
Not ride ready – tyres need inflating and the bike needs a proper service (check brakes, gears, bearings etc.) before being used on the road
Original cost was around £800 for the bike alone, not including the accessories.
