Description: The Monza GSE was the ultimate, high-performance variant of Opel's flagship three-door grand touring coupé. Originally introduced to replace the Vauxhall Royale Coupe in the UK market, the GSE became a true 1980s automotive icon, praised for its advanced tech, sporty styling, and aggressive, chrome-free Motorway-storming presence,Powered by a 3.0-litre inline-6 with Bosch fuel injection offering 180 bhp, 0-60 in 8.5 seconds and 135mph,Opel discontinued the Monza in early 1987 without a direct coupé successor, though its spiritual mantle of high-performance engineering was later carried forward by the legendary Lotus Carlton saloon.
