Test Equipment Obsolescence Manager

Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Test Equipment Obsolescence Manager to join them on an initial 6 -month basis.

Role: Test Equipment Obsolescence Manager

Pay: Up to £60 per hour via Umbrella

Location: Bolton

Contract: 6 months (possible extension)

IR35 Status: Inside

Security Clearance: SC Clearence needed, UK eyes only

Responsibilities

Managing Proactive and Reporting Services

Implementing Strategy for Obsolescence Management

Technical Assessment working with Engineering teams to manage changes

Managing Resources and Work load Planning

Skillset/experience required:

Engineering Degree or relevant experience

Knowledge and experience of managing Obsolescence

Knowledge and experience of Electronic Equipment

You'll be prepared to work autonomously if needed, lead the delivery of your work assignments, and actively engage with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of your outputs.

Manage discreet work packages preparing bids, controlling costs and delivering solutions.

Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the capability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.

Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team, with an awareness of the challenges and opportunities that this may bring and a passion for innovation and collaboration.
