Senior Systems Engineers

Our client, a renowned company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a 12-month contract position based in Rochester. The role requires expertise in BAE-Systems engineering and involves working fully onsite. The position is inside IR35 and requires BPSS + SC in-flight security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing expert systems engineering support within the Defence & Security sector

Leading project teams and managing system engineering tasks and deliverables

Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success

Developing and implementing robust systems engineering processes and procedures

Conducting system requirements analysis and producing detailed design specifications

Overseeing system integration, verification, and validation activities

Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices

Delivering technical reports and presentations to senior management and clients

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience as a systems engineer within the Defence & Security sector

Proficiency in BAE-Systems engineering methodologies and practices

Strong understanding of systems integration, verification, and validation processes

Experience in conducting system requirements analysis and design

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Security clearance (BPSS + SC in-flight) is mandatory

Ability to work fully onsite in Rochester
