Location: Hybrid – Milton Keynes / London (min. 60% on-site)

Contract Type: 6 months

Rate: £380.16p Daily Rate – PAYE / £487.07p Daily Rate – Umbrella

Restrictions: SC Clearance required – Restrictions Apply

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major government services organisation. This role involves working across technology, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver secure, compliant solutions that meet complex business needs.

The successful candidate will lead requirements elicitation and analysis, support discovery activities, facilitate workshops, and provide validated documentation to enable successful delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for complex business and IT projects.

* Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with internal and external stakeholders.

* Support process improvements, operational readiness, and change initiatives.

* Provide business assurance across project/change lifecycles.

* Maintain professional expertise and provide consultancy on technical aspects of portfolios/projects.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

* BCS/ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis or CBAP/CCBA.

* Significant experience applying BA tools and techniques across the project lifecycle.

* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitating workshops and negotiating agreements.

* Experience working in secure government or technology environments.

* Proven ability to support complex IT infrastructure delivery and change initiatives.

Desirable:

* PRINCE2 Practitioner, ITIL Foundation, or Agile Foundation certification.

* Membership of British Computer Society or other relevant professional body.

* Experience in business/customer portfolio of products and services.

Constraints:

Candidates submitted for this role must be British nationals, to confirm:

They are a British citizen or hold dual nationality, and

They have been a resident in the UK for at least two of the last 5 years

Due to the nature of this work Government security clearance if not already held will need to be obtained.

The minimum clearance required for this role is SC.

(Although advantageous, it is not a requirement that an individual already holds Security Clearance.)
