Description

Our client BAE Systems, a leading player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking three Process / Manufacturing Engineers to join their team on a 12-month contract based fully on-site in Washington. This role will be part of the Land business unit and focuses on delivering key manufacturing processes within a high-security environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing, implementing, and optimising manufacturing processes

Ensuring all manufacturing activities meet defence and security standards

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency

Providing technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing issues

Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies

Preparing and maintaining documentation related to process improvements

Monitoring and reporting on production performance metrics

Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment

Job Requirements:

Experience in manufacturing within the Defence & Security sector

Strong understanding of process engineering principles

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Problem-solving skills with a focus on optimising production processes

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Understanding of compliance and safety standards in high-security environments

Relevant engineering degree or xjnqpsq equivalent qualification
