Hi
My name is Shawn and i am an in-house executive producer/A&R for my start-up record label. I am currently looking for someone to be president of my start-up record label. This position is not paid until revenue comes in from the label which should be 2027.
President Role: involves high-level strategy, overseeing finances, marketing, A&R (artist signing), and daily operations, reporting to a CEO or owner, requiring deep industry knowledge, business acumen, and leadership to guide the label's overall vision and success.
President Responsibilities:
Strategic Direction: Defining the label's artistic identity, market focus, and long-term goals.
Financial Oversight: Managing budgets, revenue streams, and profitability.
Artist & Repertoire (A&R): Final say on which artists to sign and develop.
Marketing & Promotion: Approving major campaigns and strategies.
Operations: Leading department heads (Marketing, Sales, Finance, A&R)
