Description
Our client, a prominent player in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Cowes on a contract basis. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of IT networks, supporting essential defence and maritime services. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with one day per week on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure solutions to support business operations
Monitoring and analysing network performance to ensure optimal functionality
Troubleshooting and resolving network issues efficiently
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support network integration and enhancements
Maintaining up-to-date documentation of network configurations and changes
Ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulations
Supporting ongoing projects to enhance network reliability and performance
Providing technical guidance and support to other IT staff and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
Experience in network infrastructure management within defence or security sectors
Strong knowledge of IT network principles and security requirements
Proficiency with network monitoring tools and software
Ability xjnqpsq to troubleshoot and resolve network issues swiftly
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable to a hybrid working environment, with one day per week on site
Relevant IT or engineering qualifications
