Herman Miller Embody - rare Lime Green colour, matching Atlas headrest.
East London, London
£1,000
Description
This chair needs no introduction, it's one of the best and most well-known desk chairs ever made. Look up reviews for all the features, the flexible back, all the adjustments and so on.
The colour is hard to tell from photos, but it's 'Key Lime' coloured - a pale colour, slightly yellow-green, more subtle than it looks in pictures. Looks fab with a wood desk, really striking. Honestly gorgeous and very rare, I haven't seen another this colour.
I'm in Hackney Wick, at E3 2NR.
A couple of minor flaws to mention, nothing that affects functionality, and these chairs are popular so parts are widely available. I haven't felt any desire to fix any of these issues:
- The right armrest has a little scrape on the plastic on the inside edge. Not where you put your arm, I don't notice it as it requires looking from a specific low angle.
- The left armrest has a couple of light rub marks, again hardly noticeable.
- The button to move the right armrest up is recessed into its hole a bit, but its still pressable and works normally. Probably possible to wiggle it free if its a bit caught on something internally. I press this button probably once or twice a year so I haven't bothered.
Collection only - I don't drive. But I'm happy to put it in an Uber XL for you if you'll pay for that, or I can recommend Shiply which is an affordable way to transport furniture.
