RARE Vintage Herman Miller Equa Chair - Leather with Aluminum base

This is the iconic mid-century modern EQUA Desk Chair, originally designed by Bill Stumpf and / or Don Chadwick for Herman Miller, it was introduced in 1984 and won a Design of the Decade award from Time magazine in 1989.

The good looking EQUA chair is designed to cater all body types, enabling users to experience excellent ergonomic support and comfort. It can swivel and come with adjustments for seat height and back tilt. The chair has a full black leather upholstered seat and arm rests, atop a five-star aluminium base.

66---Width, measured across outer arm rests
66---Depth, measured from the floor, across the metal base
53---Width of the seat area
48---Depth of the seat area

CONDITION: Good used condition for age, very clean, well maintained, and structurally sound. All the adjustments are working, while the leather is generally in good condition, however, there are some imperfections from wear and tear on the leather in the seating area, hence the low selling price, please see last photo.

This chair comes from a very clean home, also pet and smoke free.

Cash on collection in London SE18, and I do not accept return. If you are sending a 3rd party to collect, this will be considered as inspection made and any return claim will be rejected thereafter.
